Who we are

Coombs Auto Repair, LLC is a small, family-owned business with roots going back to 1984. Located in Stonington, Maine, our shop was founded by John Coombs, who built a reputation for quality work specializing in foreign autos. In 1998, John brought on his son Matt fresh out of college, and together they have kept the tradition of honest, dependable service alive for decades. In 2022, Matt took the helm and gave the business a new name, Coombs Auto Repair, LLC, carrying forward everything that has made us a trusted part of this community for over 40 years. We pride ourselves on honest, hard work and fair pricing for everyone.
